"My name is Kate Grass, I lead worship for the Creek.  I remember our first day in July 2006 - the official Creek Launch.  WOW! To watch how God works is amazing!
 
I am blessed to serve with an amazing worship team.  Their talent and, most importantly, their heart for God teaches me something new every chance I have to be with them.  Though church planting can be coined as "character building" or, in other words, VERY difficult, after being with the Creek for three years I would not rather be anywhere than here.  After coming from a mega-church in Fredericksburg, VA the "whole small church thing" didn't seem very appealing at first.  However, during my short time with the Creek I have come to meet and love more people than I could have ever dreamed of.
 
God has richly blessed me with a wonderful husband, Daniel, whom without I would not be complete.  God placed Daniel in my life to be my stronghold and Daniel has lived up to this promise.  We have two furry creatures we currently call children: Riley, our adorable pup pup and Sonata, our chubby kitty.  Real children are on there way....someday!
